My path into photography started in the swampy outskirts of Tampa, making movies with friends and learning composition from my grandfather. That early passion for visual storytelling evolved into a career spanning over 30 years in commercial photography.
I specialize in editorial, corporate, and advertising work. I work closely with clients to create purposeful, visually striking images that serve both story and strategy. Whether it’s executive portraits, brand libraries, or authentic documentary moments, I bring a calm, collaborative presence to every shoot.
Now based in the mountains of Western North Carolina, I regularly serve clients throughout the Southeast—including Atlanta, Charlotte, Knoxville, and my original creative home, Tampa.
In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, my wife Wendy and I sold nearly everything we owned and hand-built a tiny house in the mountains—complete with rainwater cisterns. We now live in a restored log cabin nearby, continuing our journey toward a more grounded, sustainable life. Watch the early build stages of the tiny house here.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually building something by hand, chasing light through the woods, or competing in a sport I love but hate saying out loud (yes, it’s pickleball).
